Presser: Baby, woman shot on Detroit's east side

A child and a woman were shot on Christmas Eve on Detroit’s east side. The shooting happened at around 3:30 a.m. on Dec. 24 in the 19000 block of Binder Street. When police arrived at the scene, officers found that numerous bullet holes went through the house. While they investigated the scene, they learned the 1-year-old and 24-year-old who were shot went to a family member’s home nearby to ask for help.
