Driver shoots self, hits pedestrian on Detroit’s west side before crashing, dying

A man is dead after allegedly shooting themselves while driving on Detroit’s west side. The car struck a pedestrian and crashed near the intersection of Joy Road and Roselawn Street. The driver died at the scene, while the pedestrian is hospitalized in serious condition.
