What to know about Juvenile Polyposis Syndrome and the fundraiser to help research the disorder

You may not have heard of Juvenile Polyposis Syndrome -- a rare genetic disorder that's a real danger to kids and teens, putting them more at risk for colorectal and other cancers. It's why we're highlighting a fundraiser to help research this disorder. Shyam Thakker, a colon cancer survivor, Sarena Shivers, who started a nonprofit for the case and her son, Elijah, who was diagnosed with JPS, joined Local 4 to talk more about the fundraiser.
