Metro Detroiters donate books for children during Raising Readers Go 4 It event

This month, Local 4 teamed up with Reach Out and Read Michigan to collect books for children aged zero to five. We've been collecting books at the Southfield Public Library since 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026. Here's more on how you can donate and why Metro Detroiters said they attended the event.
