Detroit Cupid's Undie Run raises funds for children's tumor research

Thousands are expected to participate in the Cupid’s Undie Run on February 14, 2026, in Detroit, braving the cold in their underwear to support neurofibromatosis (NF) research. Sponsored by NFX, a nonprofit founded by Dan and Jennifer Gilbert, the event raises funds for the Children’s Tumor Foundation. Alexis Weisbrod, NFX team lead, emphasizes the importance of funding for NF research and patient support. Event director Brad Porter highlights the fun, community-focused nature of the run, which includes music and starts at 2 p.m.; registration is still open for participants 21 and older.
