Green Grocer Program celebrates new Detroit mini mart

Kandies is expanding its sandwich shop and catering business by introducing the Kandies Mini Mart, a new grocery section designed to provide convenient, walkable access to fresh food for residents of the Dexter-Linwood neighborhood. Owner Jacquisha "Que" Blackwell and Detroit Economic Growth Corporation (DEGC) Vice President of Small Business Services, Sean Gray, joined Local 4 to discuss the new mini mart.
