Detroit police Homicide Captain Marcus Thirkill talks quadruple shooting on city's east side
Two people were killed and two others were injured after a shooting during a repass on Detroit’s east side. Police said they responded to the incident that occurred on Friday (Feb. 27) in the 19400 block of Sherwood Street at about 8:30 p.m. after shots were reported near American Legion Post 375 and its event hall. Officials said a woman in her 20s, a man in his 30s, and the shooter were known to the victims. Police believe at least 100 people attended the repast.
