Child predator gets decades for years of abuse, killing of 13-year-old Na’Ziyah Harris

Jarvis Butts was sentenced to 35-60 years in prison for the murder of 13-year-old Na’Ziyah Harris and additional sexual assault charges. Butts, with a criminal history dating back to 1997, targeted young girls by grooming them through their mothers. Na’Ziyah, who had known Butts as he was her cousins' father, disappeared in January 2024 and is believed to have been sexually abused by him since 2022.
