Man dies after chain reaction crash on I-96

A 34-year-old man died after a chain-reaction crash on I-96 near the I-94 interchange on Sunday evening. The man’s Hyundai initially collided with a semi-truck and crashed into a concrete wall, disabling the car and partially blocking a lane. While a bystander helped remove two children from the Hyundai, a Dodge Ram struck the disabled vehicle, causing further collisions involving the semi-truck and the bystander’s car. The man was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries; no one else was injured.
