Cars line up for free gas on Detroit’s west side

Cars are lining up on W McNichols near Schaefer Highway early Wednesday morning as a local gas station owner is offering free gasoline. The giveaway started at 6 a.m. on April 8 at the Amoco gas station at 13601 W McNichols Road. The giveaway ends at 1 p.m. The owner, Mohammed, did this last year and said it is their way of giving back to the community.
