Man in Melvindale officer murder trial kicked off witness stand

The trial of a Melvindale officer killed in the line of duty could be winding down with closing arguments. Defendant Michael Lopez had another outburst in the courtroom during a cross-examination with the prosecution on Monday. He’s accused of shooting and killing Corporal Mohamed Said during a foot chase in 2024.
