Detroit police holding child abuse awareness event -- what to know

April was Child Abuse Prevention Month, and advocates want families and communities working together to prevent child neglect and abuse. The Detroit Police Department's child abuse unit is hosting a free event on Saturday in support of child abuse prevention.
