Dozens of goats brought in to clean up wooded area in Romeo -- Here’s why
A local nonprofit is using some unusual help to clean up a wooded area in Romeo -- goats. Green Space Romeo is bringing in about 30 goats to clear out invasive plants and help restore more than 11 acres of green space at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. The project is designed to protect wildlife habitat, improve the environment, and give the community a healthier outdoor space to enjoy. Donna Folland and Kristen Brewer from Green Space Romeo, along with Amanda Ruffini from Six Rivers Land Conservancy, joined Local 4 Live to talk about the project.
