Township pushes back against data center proposal

The preferred site for the University of Michigan's proposed data center was announced on Tuesday. The 144-acre location in Ypsilanti Township would house an academic computing center for U-M researchers and students, as well as a federal research center supporting Los Alamos. However, township officials and residents are pushing back.
