Detroit car chase ends with driver impaled on city's west side

A car crashed through a fence and landed on top of two parked vehicles in a residential neighborhood on Detroit’s west side following an apparent law enforcement chase. The driver was impaled through the chest by a metal fence post and was rescued by firefighters, while the damaged vehicles belonged to resident Dajaun Matkins, who expressed frustration over the loss.
