Police warn dangers of ding-dong ditching

A close call in Huron Township has police warning teens—and their parents—about the dangers of ding-dong ditching. It happened early Monday morning at the Country Meadows Mobile Home Community. A homeowner mistook a group of teens for someone trying to break in and fired a weapon. Police say the three teens were not trying to get inside, and nobody was hurt, but the teens and their parents were ticketed for creating a disturbance.
