Detroit’s Ford Fireworks are Monday. Here’s where to find a spot to watch
The annual Ford Fireworks will return to Detroit on Monday, June 22, with major viewing spots at Hart Plaza, Spirit Plaza, Belle Isle, and for the first time, Erma Henderson Park, which offers a smaller-capacity alternative. Entry rules vary by location, with Hart Plaza and Spirit Plaza open to the public for free at 2 p.m., Belle Isle allowing the first 3,000 cars with a Recreation Passport and unlimited access for pedestrians and bicyclists, and Erma Henderson Park accommodating up to 1,500 people. Prohibited items at all sites include tents, alcohol, drones, pets, weapons, flames, and personal fireworks.
