Detroit young adults tour with Usher, gain backstage experience in live entertainment

Four Detroit young adults are participating in Usher’s Entertainment Industry Club, a groundbreaking live-touring internship that places them backstage on the 2026 Usher and Chris Brown R&B Tour. Through roles ranging from wardrobe production to camera operations, the interns gain hands-on experience in the high-pressure world of live entertainment and build valuable industry connections. Despite the demanding hours, they benefit from mentorship by Usher and camaraderie among the crew. Some interns have reportedly received job offers as a result of their work on the tour.
