Ex-boyfriend pleads guilty to murder of London Thomas

Jalen Pendergrass pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the death of 17-year-old London Thomas. Thomas was strangled in April 2025 and her body was later discovered in a plastic bin inside an SUV in Southfield. Pendergrass’s mother is also facing murder charges for allegedly helping cover up the crime.
