20+ chickens stolen from nonprofit for those with special needs

Dozens of chickens have been stolen from a non-profit garden. The thieves broke into the coop over the holiday weekend taking more than 20 chickens and two geese. It happened on the east side, right near the Grosse Pointe Farms border. The coop was run with a local 4-h club and helps young adults with special needs.
