Candidates are being called to reading reform debate, Michigan ranks 44th in 4th grade reading

Candidates are being urged to adopt literacy policy changes. Michigan has adopted 3/5 of the reading reforms Policy Forum credited to have brought Mississippi from 49th to 9th nationally over 11 years for 4th grade reading. Michigan ranks 44th.
