Metro Detroit's friendly neighborhood Spider-Man uses costume to help those in need

A masked superhero is swinging into neighborhoods across Metro Detroit, but instead of battling comic book villains, he's taking on hunger, homelessness and hardship. Known as the Spider-Man of Metro Detroit, the local volunteer has gained online attention after videos of his community outreach racked up thousands of views on TikTok. Dressed in the iconic red-and-blue suit, he visits neighborhoods, hands out supplies, encourages families, and brings smiles to people facing difficult circumstances. His mission, he says, is simple: help those who need it most.
