Dearborn flooding plan could mean removing dozens of old oak trees

A plan to ease flooding in Dearborn could come at a cost—dozens of large, old oak trees. The city is considering removing trees from Edison Park to make room for a large pipe designed to help with flooding. But those trees also provide a buffer between a nearby neighborhood and Ford's new world headquarters.
