Township pushes back against data center proposal in Ypsilanti Township

The University of Michigan and "Los Alamos National Laboratory" have big plans for a new data center, but as they announce where they want to put it, some are saying, "Not so fast." Local 4 is talking about a different kind of data center—one where some of the calculations for keeping nuclear weapons safe will take place. And this week, U of M announced its preferred site isn't in Ann Arbor; it's in Ypsilanti Township, off Textile Road and Bridge Road, southwest of Willow Run Airport.
