A year after devastation, Grand Blanc Township church to rebuild

Monday marks one year since the deadly shooting and devastating fire at a Grand Blanc Township church. It left four people dead and several others injured.  Now, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on McCandlish Road is rebuilding.  “We have an active shooter at the church. The building is also on fire,” Broadcastify from Sept. 28, 2025 said.  It was a day marked by devastation.
