Avenue Grill on Detroit's east side closed after deadly crash

A crash on Detroit’s east side early Saturday morning left a woman dead and a man in critical condition. The crash happened in the 2100 block of Gratiot at around 2:30 a.m. on Sept. 6. According to police, there was a two-car crash in the area, resulting in one of the cars crashing into a nearby building.
