Metro Detroit weather looks fantastic for the Ford Fireworks
Steamy day across Metro Detroit
If you’re coming down for the Ford Fireworks, pack the sunscreen and water as highs take a shot at 90 degrees.
It’s a slightly different heat as the humidity will be dropping throughout the day. A pleasant summer heat with tons of afternoon sun as the breezes kick up WSW 7-17 mph.
The best way to watch the Ford Fireworks are from the comfort of your couch.
Local 4 coverage begins at 7 p.m., and the fireworks go off at 9:48 p.m.
A cold front blowing through tomorrow brings a slight chance for a few midday showers. This will be very light and no big deal but temps will be the bigger story. Highs tomorrow only in the low to maybe mid 70s. The cooler temps are the better bet with clouds lingering over SE Lower Michigan and the winds NW 7-12 mph.
The sun is back as we head into the beautiful midweek with upper 70s to low 80s Wednesday and Thursday with sunshine galore. Showers and storms are possible on Friday.
Be sure to download the Local4Casters app before the storm threat tonight.
