DETROIT – Happy Father’s Day and welcome to Juneteenth, Motown.
This evening is cloudier with mild conditions. It remains mild overnight with a chance of showers by dawn. That rain coincides with a warm front that passes over the region. This means much warmer and more humid weather before tomorrow is over.
Then, hazardous high heat and humidity return midweek.
Sunday evening will be partly cloudy and warm. Temperatures will be in the low 70s.
Sunset is at 9:13 p.m.
Sunday night will have increasing clouds. A warm front entering the area will be the focal point of scattered showers and storms that form in the early morning hours of Monday. Use caution with wet spots on area roads going back to work and taking children to summer camp.
Monday we will have showers in the morning and sunshine in the afternoon. A warm front passes during the day. We’ll have surge of much warmer, muggy air by the afternoon commute. Temperatures rise to the middle 80s with enough sunshine as clouds break up and leave. Humidity increases, too.
