Our Friday begins milder with a few early, light showers. Temperatures start on either side of 50 degrees.
The day is shaping up to be cloudy and cool.
Otherwise, shaping up to be a cloudy and cool Friday.
Winds will start to pick up around the lunch hour today, and will stay breezy this afternoon through the weekend. Expect highs to only reach the upper 50s, close to 60 degrees.
Tonight’s sunset is at 6:55 p.m.
We anticipate widespread rain to roll in around 8 p.m. tonight. If you are heading out to a high school football game, bring the rain gear! The rain and windy conditions could be impactful for at least the second half of the game.
Soaking Saturday, some rain Sunday
Prepare for a soaking Saturday.
We’ll wake up to widespread rain and whipping winds. Gusts will be around 30 mph on Saturday.
We don’t expect the rain to lighten up until the evening hours.
The rain will become much more spotty on Sunday, which is promising for the Freep Marathon in Downtown Detroit. Still, plan for a little rain and breezy winds with gusts around 20-25 mph.
We will be starting next week with a chance for showers with temperatures staying in the 50s.

Nationally, strong to severe thunderstorms with heavy rain and potential flooding will push through the Midwest and upper Great Lakes. High winds will continue to impact portions of the Central Plains.
