Monday
Monday, it will be mostly sunny with the help of a high-pressure system that will be over Southeast Michigan. Highs will reach the lower 40s in the afternoon. Winds out of the west-northwest will be around 5 mph. Clouds will increase as lows will fall to the mid to upper 20s at night. Nighttime winds will be light.
Tuesday
Weather conditions will be ideal to stop by bakeries for pączki on Mardis Gras. Fat Tuesday will be partly cloudy as temperatures rise into the upper 30s. A breeze will be noticeable out of the northwest at 5 to 15 mph. Gusts will be as high as 25 mph.
Wednesday
Whether you are going to the gym, dinner or a service on Valentine’s Day and Ash Wednesday, the weather will not impede you. Skies will be partly cloudy as temperatures reach the upper 30s to 40 degrees.
Thursday
Winter will try to make a comeback later in the week, but it will struggle to get to normal February weather. Rain and snow showers will move into Southeast Michigan on Thursday. Expect the chance of wet weather for most of the day. Highs will be in the upper 30s to 40 degrees. The precipitation will move out at night. Lows will fall to around 30 degrees.
Friday
Friday, it will be mostly cloudy with the chance of flurries. Highs will be in the mid 30s. There is a chance for light snow to develop at night. Lows will be in the mid 20s.
Metro Detroit’s normal highs for mid-February are in the mid 30s, and normal lows are in the lower 20s.
