Warm, humid conditions persisting in Metro Detroit -- Here’s when to expect cooler temperatures

Temperatures dipping below average by the end of the week

Due to all the moisture left behind from yesterday‘s rain, some low lying fog has developed across position of Metro Detroit through daybreak. Warm and humid conditions will persist today with highs around 90.

The chance of showers and thunderstorms can’t be ruled out late today through Thursday, particularly near the Ohio state line.

Looking ahead

Dry weather and cooler temperatures arrive later this week into the weekend. In fact, highs will likely fall below average into the upper 70s by Thursday and Friday with overnight lows into the 50s. As of right now, the weekend is looking to be seasonal and sunny.
