After another day of heavy downpours and some localized flooding, shower chances hang with us during the night tonight and even part of the day Thursday.
Overnight tonight, a few more showers are looking likely, with this rain likely lingering into Thursday morning as well. While a couple of rumbles of thunder will be possible from time to time, we’re for the most part just expecting rain showers.
The rain should move out around lunchtime, but will likely leave behind it a good dose of rain. Some areas could see over an inch of rain, with isolated spots seeing over two inches.
Following the rain, the story for the rest of the work week will be the cooler and drier air. Highs Thursday struggle to get into the middle 70s, then we should top out in the upper 70s on Friday. But the thing you’ll notice more than anything is the lower humidity the rest of the week.
The weekend looks great with lots of sunshine and highs in the lower 80s!
Next week it warms back up a bit with highs in the middle 80s, but with no big weather-makers coming, it looks like we’ll have a nice stretch of weather for the next week!
