Showers stick around in Metro Detroit, Air Quality Advisory continues

An Air Quality Advisory remains in effect until midnight

Mainly steady, light showers will stick around early this morning with a few pockets that are a bit heavier. Heavier rain chances are mainly confined to along and south of I-94. Most of this should be out by midday.

An Air Quality Advisory remains in effect for all of southeastern Michigan until midnight. Metro Detroit has some of the worst air quality in the world right now due to the wildfire smoke moving in from Canada. This will also be the coolest day as high temperatures only top out in the mid-70s.

Looking Ahead

Dry weather and less humid air will be in place on Friday. Highs tomorrow and Saturday will be in the upper 70s. We have a beautiful weekend ahead with sunshine building in.

Dry weather continues through early next week as temperatures gradually return to average. Low 80s are forecasted on Sunday with mid 80s Monday and beyond.
