It’s still a hazy start to your Wednesday, however the Air Quality Advisory for Southeast Michigan finally lifted overnight, but continues up north and throughout the Upper Peninsula.
With some lingering smoke, our air quality is moderate with more improvement forecasted Thursday as winds shift out of the south allowing any lingering smoke to retreat to the north.
Partly sunny and a little muggy today with highs in the mid-80s. Mainly dry the rest of the week, but we can’t rule out isolated afternoon and evening showers today through Friday.
Humidity increases leading into the weekend. Highs also rise into the low 90s by the weekend, with heat indices nearing the mid-90s. Our next best chance of more widespread showers and storms will be early next week.
