DETROIT – Cue up yesterday’s forecast and copy it over for today! It’s a repeat performance by Mother Nature across Metro Detroit. Grab a sweatshirt before the kids head to the bus stop as most are waking up in the 40s and low 50s.
Isolated light rain showers are possible this afternoon, otherwise generally dry today and Wednesday. We will start with some sunshine before clouds increase and still on the cool side with highs around 70. Lows tonight will flirt with the record low of 47 degrees.
Next cold front moves through Thursday bringing rain and a with a chance of thunderstorms. The remainder of the week will be in the low to mid-70s.We will see a warm-up into the upper 70s for Sunday and Labor Day as dry weather sticks around through the holiday weekend.
