DETROIT – If you were outside the last couple of days, you know exactly what to expect through midweek. Highs could reach the mid-80s this afternoon with plenty of sunshine. Afternoon highs will be in the 80s through Friday.
No rain chances until late Sunday and as of right now it still looks to be after sunset. Temperatures this weekend will be a bit more seasonal on either side of 80, but long-range outlooks have our temperatures trending above average well into next week.
Football Forecast
Friday night looks great for high school football across the Metro area with kickoff temperatures into the 70s. If you are heading to Baltimore for Monday night football, expect clear conditions and pleasant temperatures in the 70s there as well.
Autumnal Equinox
Monday will mark the start of fall, although it won’t feel like it. The autumnal equinox is when we experience nearly equal amounts of daylight and darkness across all latitudes.
