Scattered showers with embedded downpours bring the threat of flooding across Metro Detroit

DETROIT – A very soggy start to your Wednesday with some local communities under flood advisories and flash flood warnings.

Scattered showers with embedded thunderstorms are expected through the day. Heavy downpours will be possible leading to more flooding concerns.

Highs will be a little cooler, but more seasonal today, in the low 70s. Temperatures in the 70s through the remainder of the week with a warm-up through the weekend.

Stray showers are possible Thursday before drying out and turning sunnier by Friday. Sunny and upper 70s for your Saturday and Sunday.
