Seasonal start to October in Metro Detroit with a surge of warmth this weekend

No rain chances through the weekend

DETROIT – High pressure dominates the weather pattern as we start with sunshine yet again. We will have a few clouds mixing in later today with more high cloud cover through Thursday. However, we stay dry. Highs today will be more on par with where we should be for the first week of October, near 70.

Quiet weather continues through the end of the week and into the weekend. We will be in the low to mid-70s on Thursday with 80s returning Friday through Monday of next week. Our next best chance for rain at this point doesn’t appear to arrive until next Tuesday and at this point it appears to be an isolated chance as a cold front pushes through the region.
