DETROIT – How is the weather forecast looking for Halloween in Metro Detroit? We took an early look at the temperature and precipitation chances four days out.
Rain chances
It’s still several days out, but it appears the end of this week is a bit unsettled in terms of precipitation chances.
Showers are possible as early as Wednesday night through Friday morning. As of Monday morning, it looks like conditions could dry out by midday Friday.
That would keep trick-or-treating dry, though winds will likely be noticeable, with gusts over 20 mph.
Temperatures
High temperatures on Thursday and Friday are trending slightly cooler than average, in the low 50s.
Weekend football forecast
For fans heading to the Michigan game on Saturday or the Detroit Lions game on Sunday -- we’re keeping a close eye on shower chances over the weekend and whether it will affect tailgating plans.
Highs for the weekend remain in the low 50s.
