Happy Thanksgiving! Bundle up...
Wind chills will be in the teens this morning expected to rise into the 20s by this afternoon. Snow showers and gusty winds (30 to 35 mph) continue today.
Most areas will see a dusting to upward of an inch. However, if your holiday travels today take you to the west side of the state, Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories continue for West
Michigan, Northern Lower, and the U.P. due to heavier lake-effect snow. Blizzard Warnings have even been issued in the western portion of the U.P.
Somewhat quieter Friday and much of the day Saturday with highs in the mid 30s.
However, there is increasing confidence in accumulating snowfall Saturday night into Sunday.
Some models are projecting several inches of snow to fall across Southeast Michigan if we stay on the colder sector of this winter storm and see a later changeover on Sunday to rain or a rain/snow mix.
