Snow started moving through Metro Detroit Saturday afternoon, but the main window for the heaviest snowfall is from 6 p.m. Saturday to 2 a.m. Sunday.

A winter storm warning has been issued for Lenawee, Livingston and Washtenaw counties until 10 a.m. on Sunday.
Areas under the winter storm warning are expected to get 5-8 inches of snow, with 4-6 inches expected for other parts of the region.
Local 4 has issued a 4Warn Weather Alert for Saturday into Sunday morning because we expect this winter storm to significantly impact a major travel weekend.
