4Warn Weather - Sunday is the start of astronomical Winter, meaning the sun is at the year’s lowest point in the sky in the northern hemisphere. Across Southeast Michigan, this means there is the least amount of daylight time today. The good news is that the afternoon was filled with sunshine and fair skies continue into the late-night.
This will aid in temperatures falling quickly with overnight lows mainly in the upper teens. Winds are light, out of the SW around 5mph.
Clouds increase early Monday morning ahead of the next round of precipitation. Snow will move through in the morning with light accumulations possible.
As temperatures warm into the mid-30s, the afternoon will feature a changeover to scattered mix and rain.
Sprinkles will linger here and there into early Tuesday morning with temperatures in the lower 30s. Most of Tuesday will then be dry with highs in the low 40s.
