Kane scores 400th goal as Blackhawks beat Red Wings 7-2

Bouncing back nicely from a 5-3 loss to the Red Wings on Saturday night, the Blackhawks closed out a 9-3-1 February with their third win in four games. The Red Wings played without captain Dylan Larkin for the second straight game because of an upper-body injury. The Red Wings, who put 21 shots on net in the first, got one back when Gagner redirected Jon Merrill's shot past Lankinen with 2:09 to go.

Suter scores first 3 NHL goals as Blackhawks beat Red Wings

Suter collected his first three goals in his sixth game and Kevin Lankinen made 25 saves, helping the Chicago Blackhawks beat the Detroit Red Wings 6-2 on Sunday for their second straight win. Lankinen was solid once again after he made 30 stops while earning his first career win in Friday night's 4-1 victory against the Red Wings. The Red Wings lost for the third time in their past four games. MISSINGThe Red Wings played without defenseman Jon Merrill and forwards Filip Zadina, Robby Fabbri, Sam Gagner and Adam Erne because of the NHL's COVID-19 protocols.
