DETROIT – Detroit police are investigating what led to a minivan being rammed through the front doors of a Rite Aid on the city's east side.
The incident happened around 5:30 a.m. Monday at the store on Mack Avenue and Alter Road.

Police told Local 4 there was no one in the store when they arrived -- and it was unclear whether anything was stolen.
Police will be reviewing surveillance camera footage.
