Moisture from mid-week rain to bring cooler temperatures this weekend in Metro Detroit

Thursday highs in upper 60s; Friday highs in lower 60s

4Warn Weather – After a warm and humid day, thunderstorms rolled through the region Wednesday afternoon and early Wednesday evening, and we will dry things out as we go through the evening and overnight hours tonight.

We will hold onto a stray shower through the mid-evening hours Wednesday night; otherwise, mostly cloudy skies can be expected. The overnight low will drop to around 50°.

Thursday

We will keep cloud cover in the forecast throughout the day on Thursday, but another cold front will work into the region late Thursday night into early Friday morning, bringing us yet another chance of rain.

Temperatures will gradually cool down on Thursday, heading for the mid-upper 60s by Thursday afternoon. This gradual transition will allow you to adjust to the changing weather conditions.

Friday

We start to dry things out as we head into the end of the week on Friday. After holding onto a few showers early, partly cloudy skies can be expected. High temperatures are heading for right around 60° by Friday afternoon.

Weekend forecast

We will keep cloud cover into the forecast to start the weekend on Saturday, thanks to the moisture from the rounds of rain from Wednesday through the end of the week on Friday.

Mostly cloudy skies are expected, and cooler temperatures will also persist. The high temperature is expected to reach the middle 50s by Saturday afternoon.

Next week

Dry weather sticks around through the end of the weekend and into early next week; high temperatures into the 50s on Sunday will give way to the lower 60s on Monday.

Mid-week forecast

Another round of rain moves into the region as we work from Tuesday and into next Wednesday.

The rain should move in through the afternoon and into the evening and move out on Wednesday morning. The high temperature is heading for the lower 60s by Tuesday afternoon.
