ANN ARBOR – Explore all that Ann Arbor Public Schools Community Education and Recreation (Rec & Ed) has to offer with a week of free adult fitness and yoga classes.

Those interested in improving their health or flexibility have a chance to try Rec & Ed courses between Sept.10-18 before making a commitment.

Classes will be held in person, online or in a hybrid format with an in-person class supporting a live, virtual presentation.

“Rec & Ed continues to adapt programming to address the community’s needs. The flexibility of a hybrid format helps support participants in maintaining their regular fitness/wellness habits to help them reach their goals. I see this type of hybrid format as the trend of the future. People can choose where they want to participate on any given day. More options to participate, less reason to skip a class due to weather or other potential barriers,” said Rec & Ed Fitness & Yoga Program Supervisor Terry McNeely.

“Try it Free” courses include different types of yoga, cardio drumming, strength training, Zumba, HIIT training, belly dance and cardio barre.

Registration opens on Monday, Aug. 15.
