Police investigate armed robbery in Ann Arbor’s Rose Park

Victim suffered minor injury

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Police in Ann Arbor are investigating an armed robbery that happened Tuesday, Feb. 13.

According to authorities, it happened at about 10 p.m. in Rose Park on Packard Street. Police said a 42-year-old man was walking through the park when he was approached by a man wearing a ski mask and armed with a knife. The suspect fled on foot toward Mary Beth Doyle Park with the victim’s wallet and cellphone.

Police said the victim suffered a minor injury to his head, but declined medical attention.
