DETROIT – The Eastside Farmers Market invites shoppers to bring their bikes and meet State Representative Alberta Tinsley-Talabi and the Detroit Police Department to learn about Bike Safety this Saturday.
The Bicycle Safety Fair will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Hub of Detroit will also be doing a bicycle tune-up workshop starting at 9:30 a.m. and ending at 11 a.m.

The Eastside Farmers Market has other great activities in this weekend's crop including the 2nd Annual Fun Day at the Farm presented by Michigan Coalition of Black Farmers and supported by UpSouth Foods Produce Truck & Fall Harvest Urban Farms. Shoppers are invited to visit UpSouth Foods Produce truck at the market this weekend to get fresh fruits and vegetables and refreshing frozen grapes.
The farm to table experience continues with UpSouth with a bus tour after the market closes. The trip will be from 3-6 p.m. and is $15 per person including transportation, food, fun games and a farm visit to Mike's Berry Fish Farm in Belleville.
