The Mike Morse law firm has donated a backpack full of school supplies for every kindergarten through fifth-grade student in the Detroit Public Schools district.
The donation of more than 22,000 backpacks is through The Kids in Need Foundation.
All kindergarten through fifth-grade students will receive the backpacks within the first week of school.
The Kids In Need Foundation is a not-for-profit that provides school supplies nationwide to kids most in need.
