It’s a crisis that has touched everyone’s life in one way or another and Local 4 is stepping up to make sure we’re all Rescue Ready.

We’re aiming to eliminate overdose deaths with our upcoming Rescue Ready: Opioid Overdose Training event.

On Sept. 24, there will be eight Narcan training sessions at Wayne County Community College Downriver Campus. Each session will be about 45 minutes long and consists of a presentation and training.

Each participant will leave with a recovery kit and Deterra bags to discard expired and unused prescription drugs.

The Rescue Ready: Opioid Overdose Training event runs 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Wayne County Community College Downriver Campus, located at 21000 Northline Road in Taylor.
